We are currently seeking to add another team member to provide administrative support to the members of the Valuation team.
  • Coordinate transmission of supporting data from CIM to appraisers. Assemble supporting appraisal information, including rent rolls, income statements, budgets, lease agreements, construction costs, project timelines, etc. for assets being appraised each quarter.
  • Upload assembled information to ShareFile folder or other portals/platform for appraiser access.
  • Verify that appraiser is able to access the uploaded supporting information. Follow up on any requests from appraiser for additional supporting information.
  • Assist valuation team in fielding questions from external appraisers and Portfolio Oversight team regarding supporting appraisal information.
  • Monitor due dates for receipt of draft appraisal reports. Log in draft reports received to the appraisal tracking worksheet, including value, discount rate, cap rate, and other value drivers.
  • Send review requests to the appropriate CIM review team members (Portfolio Oversight, Finance and/or Investments) including due date for providing review comments.
  • Monitor CIM review team's transmission of review comments and follow up when comments are not received by the deadline.
  • Review and comment on draft appraisal reports. Check mathematical accuracy and accuracy of narrative. Compare to prior quarter and note any significant differences.
  • Complete appraisal review checklist for each draft appraisal report received. 
  • Assist valuation team with verification and reconciliation of accounting information contained in the appraisal reports, such as construction cost incurred and balance to complete, condominium units sold, and historical financial information. 
  • Special projects such as conducting internet searches, preparing special reports, and responding to information requests.
  • Provide support to the other Administrative Support staff in assigned departments and fill in when needed
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint required.
  • Experience with video conferencing software.
  • Proficient with office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, mail metering machines.
  • Willingness to learn new software tools such as Argus, Nexus Payables.
