The Senior Associate, Financial Reporting role is focused on the preparation of quarterly financial statements, preparation of quarterly investor reports, responding to due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and answering ad hoc client requests. They assist with annual reports and audit and tax work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist in the preparation, review, and issuance of quarterly and annual financial statements, including footnote disclosures and supplemental schedulesPrepare and or coordinate with third-party service providers in the preparation of quarterly and annual client reports and statementsPrepare recurring quarterly investor reporting and DDQsCoordinate with other internal departments to compile data for investor reporting and DDQsRespond to ad hoc client questions including but not limited to current period NAV estimates, cash flow projections, fund diversity statistics, debt balances and statistics, etc.Provide information for and take part in Q&A for audits, tax preparation and appraisals Research technical accounting issues and present findingsCreate and maintain the tracker for financial statements, investor reporting and DDQsCollaborate with management and provide updates on financial reports, progress and modifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Related Field3-5 years previous accounting experienceReal estate/private equity experience (preferred)Big 4 or other public accounting experience (preferred)CPA (optional)
