This position is responsible for the delivery of all Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliation activities on assigned portfolio of assets, including estimated CAM charge recoveries, commercial tax and insurance charges, annual reconciliations, and quarterly CAM accrual, if applicable. 
  • Work with Lease Administration, Property Accounting and Property Management to ensure accurate and timely CAM reconciliation and estimate calculations is performed
  • Coordinate with Lease Administration and third-party administrator on all company initiatives surrounding CAM and lease set-up
  • Review third party lease administrator’s Yardi lease and CAM set-ups for accuracy.
  • Maintain supporting schedules and related files necessary to facilitate system generated CAM calculations
  • Maintain historical CAM recovery models and records
  • Facilitate and support new CAM reconciliation model set-up and deployment, in addition to CAM reconciliation set-up transitions
  • Provide CAM budget support
  • Support special projects as needed
  • Responsible for performing all key control activities and provide audit support associated with CAM
  • Assist with any tenant CAM inquiries and audit
  • Work with other business units to develop and prepare summary and CAM reporting, if applicable
  • Assist and set up Yardi CAM set-ups for commercial leases, if applicable

  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.):
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience dealing with CAM and property accounting in a commercial asset setting is a plus
  • Prior experience with Triple Net Leasing, Gross Lease, Base Year Tenants.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Proficient in lease review and interpret lease language.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of property accounting and CAM.
  • Experience in Yardi, MRI, J. D. Edwards or comparable software.
  • Operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex agreements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and/or reports
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented.
  • Deadline driven and ability to manage multiple tasks.
