The Associate Vice President (AVP), Investments position is based at our investment office in New York and works closely with the Investments team and others to source investments, conduct financial analysis and underwriting, and monitor the existing portfolio. The individual in this position will work on projects in Atlanta, Georgia 80 percent of the time and should be passionate about the area.
 
The AVP, Investments role is an integral part of the CIM team. You’ll work in a supportive, growth-oriented environment and gain valuable exposure to CIM’s wide range of asset types and investment platforms in addition to each element of the capital stack. Project types may include retail, office, hotel, for-rent and for-sale residential, entertainment/media, parking, signage, infrastructure, and infill land development, among others. You’ll also gain experience with direct acquisitions, joint venture investments and public-private partnerships. 
 
In this role, you’ll be responsible for active business plan execution of notable investments in Atlanta. (Closing, capital markets, leasing, development, dispositions, structuring partnerships and transactions, etc.) You’ll also underwrite potential acquisition and development opportunities, manage the transaction due diligence and closing processes. Responsibilities would also include assisting in the acquisition effort and evaluating investments as well as preparing investment committee memorandums and related support.

  • Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Master of Business Administration from a top-tier business school or at least three years of prior work experience
