We are looking for an experienced Marketing Director to be responsible for property marketing for the residential for-rent portfolio of CIM Group. This involves working closely with internal groups including investments, development and property management to develop and implement strategies to drive leasing at the residential properties. The ideal candidate will have had prior business to consumer marketing experience, excellent communications and project management skills, attention to detail, and be able to employ digital marketing techniques.
Essential functions:
  • Participate in the strategy and development of branding and property identity initiatives
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs
  • Work with property management teams to manage marketing budgets
  • Develop sales forecasting and property branding plans
  • Offer expert advice to develop and coordinate innovative advertising, public relations, social media and events
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • As needed, review RFP’s and contracts for third-party providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers
    • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Seven years of business to consumer marketing experience (residential real estate marketing experience a plus)
  • Familiar with Fair Housing leasing practices 
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated competency in the use of CRM software applications, including experience using Entrata
  • Experience with digital marketing, including SEM and SEO a plus
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
