The business analyst will be responsible for improving business processes by working with various departments to ensure their Salesforce needs are being met. To be successful in this role, you will understand their business processes, investigate/troubleshoot problems, document business and system processes, gather requirements, create user stories, and work with technical teams to deliver solutions. 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Serve as a Business Analyst for the Salesforce environment while working with remote team members to provide and execute technical requirements to support new and existing Salesforce processes.
  • Work with business users to gather and document requirements, analyze, design, and recommend a best practice solution, manage project-based work to implement and train users on a new or improved business process.
  • Identify desired outcomes and develop a prioritized roadmap to deliver solutions that align with strategic goals.
  • Document core system processes and related applications.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Job functions include, but are not limited to, design, testing, implementation, documentation, user training/support and maintenance of new and existing applications.

  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
  • Three or more years’ experience in business systems application assignment, preferably in a real estate, investment, or banking environment.
  • Two years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator (preferably with at least 30-100 users).
  • Two years of experience managing Salesforce projects.
  • Strong preference for candidates who are Salesforce certified as a Business Analyst, Administrator, Advanced Administrator, and/or Platform App Builder.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodology. 
  • TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce's core/custom objects, profiles, permission sets, record types, page layouts, validation rules, approval processes, formula fields, automation, AppExchange, reports and dashboards, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio to map business processes.
  • Hands on development experience using APEX, Process Builders, Flows, and SOQL.
