The VP, Private Wealth is an external wholesaler who is responsible for delivering the highest caliber of sales efforts in their assigned territory in order to maximize sales of corporate credit investment products. Primary focus is on RIA’s, Family Offices and Financial Advisors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Identify and develop relationships with top wealth advisory firms and HNW investors. Recruit new RIAs and strengthen relationships with existing investors.Provide follow up information as requested. Maintain contact with advisors and keep them up to date on products. Offer information, ideas and other material required to move the relationship and production levels forward.Create and maintain proactive relationships with key wealth advisor firms by through call campaigns and communication.Maintain database and report on advisor status.Conduct office meetings and ensure a full calendar of appointments when traveling.Conduct weekly meetings to review the past week and outline initiatives for the coming week. Follow through on marketing campaigns.Educate RIAs as to how OFS is approaching various risk/return opportunities in the current market environment.Read and report on assigned industry journals. Provide timely information and investment ideas from these journals to the management.Provide efficient and timely reports for sales activity and expense reimbursement.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in related field required, MBA a strong plusSeries 7 and 63 licenses required8+ years previous work experience as an external wholesaler
