The Associate, Due Diligence is a key position based at CIM’s corporate headquarters in Los Angeles. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing the content for requests for proposals and information (RFPs / RFIs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) across CIM’s real estate, infrastructure and credit strategies. You’ll also interface regularly with external contacts, responding to due diligence requests from existing and prospective investors. Strong communication skills will serve you well both externally and internally, as you collaborate with CIM teams such as Portfolio Oversight, Compliance, Legal, Finance and others to ensure accuracy and consistency in the materials you produce. Database management and optimization is another key function of this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Create and manage due diligence reports and content covering CIM’s various strategies, responding to investor requests for special requests as needed and ensuring consistency across all materials Work alongside internal subject matter experts in Portfolio Oversight, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, HR, Marketing & Communications and the Sales team to ensure appropriateness and accuracy of informationWork with IT and other departments to improve the efficiency and enhance the organization’s use of the RFP database, QvidianUpdate internal and external databases with quantitative and qualitative information on CIM funds and their performance on a quarterly basisSupport data requests from Marketing & Communications for the creation of content for internal and external use
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)Bachelor’s degree5+ years of relevant experience
