Social Infrastructure

Our Social Infrastructure supports the creation of strong communities by providing opportunities for social connection.

Creating value:

Within our infrastructure strategy, one of the key sectors we emphasize is Social Infrastructure. Social Infrastructure accommodates a community’s social, educational, civic, cultural and recreational services and activities. Our Qualified Communities often lack adequate Social infrastructure prior to our involvement.

While financing social infrastructure assets is generally considered a public sector responsibility, private capital now plays a key role.

Muzeo

Anaheim, CA

Located in Anaheim, California, the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center was created to bring the community together to celebrate various cultures within a dynamic gathering space.

The property includes Anaheim’s original Carnegie Library and a state-of-the art gallery space known as the Main Gallery. Muzeo features several permanent and traveling exhibits and special events. One such event is the Muzeo Trash Artist Challenge, an annual county-wide art contest that promotes zero-waste recycling by encouraging students to turn trash into art.

Muzeo adds value to the community by offering residents opportunities to celebrate culture and the arts through creative programming.

We transferred ownership of Muzeo to the City of Anaheim in 2007 after the project was completed.
