CIM Group Signs Lease with Renowned Park Bench Music Venue to Bring High Energy Live Entertainment to Centennial Yards
ATLANTA, GA (September 16, 2026) – CIM Group and Centennial Yards Company announced today that Park Bench, the celebrated dueling piano bar known for its interactive entertainment experience, will open its second location in the Entertainment District of Centennial Yards, the $5 billion mixed-use redevelopment transforming Downtown Atlanta.
The 7.5-acre Entertainment District sits within the broader Centennial Yards development, which is revitalizing 50 acres of underutilized land in Downtown Atlanta. As one of the largest and most ambitious city-center developments in the country, Centennial Yards connects surrounding communities and creates several new city blocks at the junction of the rail lines where the city was founded. Centennial Yards Company was created by CIM Group to act as the owner and master developer of Centennial Yards.
Park Bench will bring its signature blend of entertainment, Southern hospitality, and vibrant nightlife to Centennial Yards for its first downtown location. Known for its interactive dueling piano shows, performances, and lively atmosphere, Park Bench’s arrival further enhances Centennial Yards’ dining, retail, hospitality and live event offerings.

Founded in 1994, Park Bench has become one of the region’s best-known destinations for late-night entertainment. It built its reputation in Buckhead, operating for 27 years and served as an early home for Atlanta artists, including Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Zac Brown, who fronted the venue’s house band.

Park Bench joins a growing roster of dining and entertainment destinations at Centennial Yards. The Entertainment District, which officially began opening to the public this summer, is already home to Cosm, Shake Shack, and The Irish Exit, all of which are now open and welcoming guests. Additional destinations planned for the Entertainment District include Chops Lobster Bar and Varuni Napoli, while The Busy Bee Café and Khao Thai Isan are slated to open at The Mitchell in 2027. The district's continued expansion will also include a 5,300-seat Live Nation venue and a 261-key Virgin Hotel, both expected to open in 2027.
