CIM Group is hiring on an excellent Infrastructure Engineer that will be responsible for the maintenance of CIM’s VOIP telephony and mobile device management platforms, server infrastructure and data networks. The Infrastructure Telephony Engineer, under the direction of the Director of IT Infrastructure and senior infrastructure engineering staff, works with other Technology staff to respond to escalation incidents and to implement system changes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Manage ongoing operations of the VOIP platformManage telephony onboarding/offboarding tasks (extensions, conference rooms, etc.)Work with Telecom carriers to troubleshoot connectivity issuesWork with Service Desk team to troubleshoot conference room issues (AV, connectivity, etc.)Manage Mobile Device Management platformTriage escalated Proofpoint phishing incidents using ServiceNow and Proofpoint admin console Design, manage, and report quarterly email phishing test campaignsRespond to escalated Infrastructure incidents and problems Visit remote sites to troubleshoot workstations or network equipmentWork on management of the following, but not limited to:File serversActive DirectoryBackup & Disaster RecoveryApplication serversServer VirtualizationData Center InfrastructureCloud Infrastructure (SaaS & IaaS)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferredMinimum three years of experience with voice & data systemsMinimum eight years of experience in an infrastructure roleCertifications a plusExpert knowledge of enterprise VoIP technologiesExpert knowledge of Microsoft Server systems and technologiesStrong knowledge of Active DirectoryStrong knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating systemsStrong knowledge of server virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V)Strong knowledge of networking fundamentalsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office productsExperience with PowerShellUnderstanding of cloud environments: Office365, Azure, Salesforce
